The theme for the day of the Seafarer this year is Maritime Education.
We want more people to consider a career at sea.

We are also looking at ways to improve Seafarer welfare facilities on Antigua and Barbuda. We have been selected to take part in a project to establish Port Welfare Committees at Ports around the World, which bring together organizations, and people, involved in catering for the welfare of both local and visiting Seafarers.
