Filing Agents

INTRODUCTION

The Administration operates a unique online “Interactive Application System for Seafarers” (IASS) to which all the filing agents have access.  The applications for Officer’s Endorsements and for Seafarer’s Books are submitted by the Filing Agents through this system and are processed very quickly.  Within a maximum period of three working days, a Certificate of Receipt of Application (CRA) is generated.  This will serve as evidence (in accordance with the requirements of the STCW convention) of the application for three months pending the delivery of the final endorsement.

There are currently authorized Filing Agents located in all parts of the world. The document below is the current list of authorized Filing agents.
