STCW Circular 2017-001 (Rev 1) Training Requirements for Seafarers on Ships using Gases or other Low-Flash point Fuels

This Circular provides information on the requirements in June 2015 by the Maritime Safety Committee of the International Maritime Organization on its 95th session where it adopted the “International Code of Safety for Ships Using Gases or Other Low-Flashpoint Fuels” (IGF Code), which entered into force on 1 January 2017.
